The Metro remains under a “Wind Chill Advisory”…

The National Weather Service has issued a “Wind Chill Advisory” until tomorrow for the entire WHUR listening area. It will feel like -7 to – 10 degree’s today for many of us. This afternoon we are looking for H’s only near 22. Snow flurries are expected this afternoon into tonight.

CNN reports Justice Department prepared to file charges against city of Ferguson, Missouri as a result of Michael Brown shooting…

CNN is reporting that the Department of Justice plans to sue the city of Ferguson, Missouri. Reportedly the department will not file suit if Ferguson police agree to review and change alleged discriminatory tactics. The suit is in result of the fatal shooting of unarmed African American teen Michael Brown last year.

Suspect in July 14 shooting death of a Howard Student enters a guilty plea

The suspect in the 2013 July 4th shooting death of a Howard University student has entered a guilty plea. Rasdavid Lagarde now faces up to 30 years in prison for the robbery and murder of Marking Howard University Senior, Omar Sykes.
