NBC News is reporting that all 11 passengers on board a Army Helicopter are presumed dead. 7 were Marines and 4 were soldiers taking part in a nighttime exercise in a report section of the Pensacola Panhandle.

DC Mayor announces a major tech partnership with Howard University…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is set to hold a 1pm press conference at Howard University’s Founder’s Library today to announce a Tech partnership. Mayor Bowser and Howard University President Wayne A.I. Frederick will work together to help grow the city’s tech and innovation ecosystem.

The DC’s Summer Youth Jobs Program registration date has been extended…

The District has decided to extended the City’s Summer Youth Jobs Program by three days. Officials say it’s due to several bad weather days last month and a mix up with the original deadline date. The 6 week paid program applies to DC residents ages 14 to 21 years old.
