A house fire in S.E. injured two, one critically…

A house fire this morning in the 400 Block of 16th Street in S.E. injured two people, one critically. The victims identity and the cause of the blaze have not been released.

Final arraignments for the Census Bureau Security Guard killed have been announced…

Funeral services for the Census Bureau Security Guard killed last week in the line of duty will take place on Friday. Services for 48 year old, Lawrence Buckner will begin at Noon at Little Zion Baptist Church in Colonial Beach.

The tax deadline is tonight at midnight….

Procrastinators you have until tonight at midnight to file your 2014 taxes. Now you have the option of requesting a 6 month extension, but Uncle Sam says does not mean that you don’t have to pay what you think you will owe. Violators face big fines if they don’t.
