Six Baltimore Officers suspended following the death of a 25 year old suspect…

Six Baltimore Police Officers connected with the arrest and transportation of 25 year old Freddie Gray, who later died from a broken vertebrae have been suspended. Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake has asked for citizens to remain calm. An investigation into what happened is due on Friday, May 1st.

March 2 Justice Rally planned in the District today…

A March 2 Justice Rally is scheduled for 2 p.m. today outside of the U.S. Capitol. Supporters want to push congress to approve the Justice Act, which among other things calls for an end to racial profiling and the demilitarizing of police departments.

Phillie mother accused of leaving her quadriplegic son in the woods appears in a Md court…

Nyia Parler, the Philadelphia mother who is accused of leaving her quadriplegic son in the woods for 5 days, so she could visit her boyfriend in Silver Spring, Maryland is due to be arraigned. Parlor faces aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges.
