Peace returns to the streets of Baltimore….

The Baltimore Police Commissioner has called a Noon Press Conference to update the public on the current situation in the city. Last night’s curfew was successful with only 10 arrests compared to almost 250 the night before. Classes resumed this morning and City offices reopened on time.

A DC group plans a rally and march tonight for Freddie Gray …

The group DC Ferguson is planning to hold a rally and march in support of Freddie Gray tonight. The group will meet at 7 at the Gallery Place Metro Station in Chinatown and then walk to the White House.

DC has a new Ward 4 council member, Ward 8 race too close to call…

The District has a new Ward 4 City Council Member and his name is Brandon Todd. He won yesterday’s special election race to fill the seat left vacant by Muriel Bowser. In Ward 8, the outcome was not as cut and dry. About 150 votes separates LaRuby May from the nearest candidate Trayon White.
