The Pope addresses Congress and feeds the homeless today…

Pope Francis has a closed door meeting this morning with the Speaker of the House before his 10 am address before Congress. The pontiff will only speak for an hour and many believe he will address Climate Control, caring for the poor and possibly immigration. At 11:15 am Pope Francis will feed the poor at St. Patrick’s Catholic Charities in NW. He leaves from Joint Base Andrews at 4 pm.

A major change is announced to the Md State Juvenile Justice System..

The state of Maryland is ending the practice of shackling juveniles appearing in court, unless a judge believes there is a security risk. The state joins 21 other states and the District of Columbia in ending this discriminatory practice.

OPM admits over 5 million fingerprint records have been stolen…

The Office of Personnel Management is now admitting that over 5 million fingerprint records were stolen earlier this year during a security breach. U.S. Officials are still looking into the matter. Privately news outlets are saying the U.S. blames Chinese Government hackers for the breach.
