A Transit Police Officer is on leave following a fatal shooting in S.E.

The investigation into last night’s fatal shooting of a man inside the Potomac Avenue Metro Station in Southeast is on going. The Transit Police Officer involved has been placed on administrative leave. The identity of the male victim shot inside of the tunnel at the Potomac Avenue Metro Station has not been released.

Tensions increase in Ferguson as police search for those who shot two cops…

A massive manhunt continues in Ferguson, Missouri for the person or people involved in this weeks shooting of two police officers. Several people have been questioned. The officers shot, have been treated and released. Protestors who say they had nothing to do with the shootings vow to continuing demanding that more city leaders step down in the wake of the Department of Justice report showing years of rampant racism within the police department.

Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker releases his budget for 2016…

At 2:30 this afternoon, Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker will unveil his 2016 budget proposal. The public meeting will be held on the 5th floor of the Administration Building in Upper Marlboro.
