Area police departments are on heightened alert for the 4th of July. U.S. Officials are concerned about possible loan wolf terror attack encouraged by ISIS. The FBI says there is no specific threat and the decision is one of precaution. The 4th of July Parade begins tomorrow at 11:45 at Constitution Avenue and 7th Street in NW. The fireworks on the National Mall begin at 9:09.
A 25K reward is offered for information about burning found in a trash can in DC…

DC Police are offering a $25,000 reward for information to who killed 19 year old Heineken McNeil. Investigators say he was shot to death before being stuffed in a trash can and set on fire in N.E.

Alexandria, Virginia records its first homicide for the year…

Alexandria, Virginia has had it’s first homicide. Police say 22 year old Shakkan Elliot-Tibbs. He was found shot to death outside of an apartment complex on North Fayette Street. No arrest have been made in this case.

Baltimore Police investigate an embarrassing note found in a police van…

There’s more embarrassment for Baltimore’s Police Department. Authorities are looking into a picture that shows a sign on the inside door of a police van that reads, “Enjoy your ride, cuz we sure will”.
