Va Appeals Court says “No” to Bob McDonnell’s request for a new trial…

Arlington, Virgina Police are warning women in the area to travel in pairs. The warning follows 4 sexual assaults in two weeks, the most recent was on Saturday night on Highland Street. What’s unclear if police are looking for one or more suspects. A composite sketch of at least one attacker has been released.

23 arrest overnight in Ferguson, Missouri, the city remains under “State of Emergency”…

Twenty-three people were arrested in Ferguson, Missouri last night when peaceful protest turned violent. The city remains under a “State of Emergency” following a fourth day of unrest following the first Anniversary of the death of Micheal Brown.

NABJ calls on Ferguson prosecutors to drop charges against reporter covering the Michael Brown murder…

The National Association of Black Journalist and the “Washington Post” are lashing out against the Ferguson Police Department for filing trespassing charges against reporter Wesley Lowery during his coverage of the shooting death of Michael Brown. The “Post” calls the charges outrageous and an abuse of power. NABJ is calling on prosecutors to drop the charges.
