Police continue searching for a missing teen, who’s without her medication…

The search continues for a missing teen in our area. Her name is Keira Richardson and she was last seen on Friday in the 6100 block of Breezewood Court in Greenbelt. Now you can see an image of her on my social media accounts.

The Md man accused of killing his stepfather over yard work starts today…

The man accused of the 2013 killing his step father a veteran DC Police Detective is set to go on trail today. Antwan James is charged with shooting Joseph Newell multiple times outside of his Upper Marlboro home. The motif the two had a disagreement over him doing yard work the Newell. The incident was all captured on a neighbor’s security camera.

Mother indicted in May swing death of her toddler…

The mother who was found pushing her dead toddler on a swing at a park in La Plata has been indicted in the child’s death. Romechia Simms now faces 1st degree murder charges in the death of 3 year old Ji’Aire Lee. An autopsy shows the child died of dehydration and hypothermia.

President Obama announces new changes in the process for student loans…

President Obama is revising the Federal Student Loan process. Later today from Iowa he will unveil his plan to allow students to apply for loans three months earlier than currently allowed. He will also allow students to use their most recent tax forms instead of waiting for the current years taxes. It’s all apart of his mission to help more people afford college.
