Waldorf house fire kills a child and woman…

A woman believed to be in her 60’s and a small child are dead following a house fire in Waldorf this morning. Four others made it out of the home on Poplar Mills Road. The cause is still under investigation.

UDC claims racial profiling by DC Police…

In the District –protestors took to the streets yesterday demanding answers following video that shows what they call the wrongful arrest of two black teens. The images that have gone viral, show two DC Officer wrestling 18 year old UDC student Jason Goolsby and twisting his arm while trying to handcuff him. On the video you can hear him screaming that he is not resisting. DC Police say they were responding to a call of suspicious suspects near a Citibank in S.E.. When they arrived the found Goolsby and his friend Michael Brown. Goolsby had just withdrawn money form the machine. The two were not charged and later released.

Criminal investigation launched in Baltimore Police Officer spitting allegation…

A criminal and internal investigation is underway in Baltimore for a 34 year veteran of the force seen on a cell phone video appearing to spit on a African American suspect who was handcuffed and on the ground. Interim Baltimore Police Commissioner Kevin Davis has launched an internal investigation into the matter.

Lamar Odom clinging onto life…

There’s no new word on Lamar Odom’s condition. At last check the former NBA star still had not regain consciousness after being found unresponsive in a room at a Las Vegas brothel last night. Odom is also not breathing on his own. He had reportedly been taking herbal Viagra. No drugs were found in his room. His ex wife Khole Kardashian is at his side.
