Police in Upper Marlboro search for a killer…

The search for a killer and a motif in the death of retired 56 year old Amanda Jones continues this hour. Jones was found yesterday in the basement of her home in the Perrywood community. Investigators say she died from a blunt force trauma.

DC holds a public hearing on Police body cams…

Right now the DC City Council is holding a hearing on police body camera’s inside of the Wilson Building. Leaders are listening to residents and police on a list of issues from the cost to who can see the images and when.

Metro Transit is in financial trouble…

Metro is in financial trouble. The transit agency needs more money for ongoing repairs and safety upgrades. The Metro Board of Directors are set to meet today to discuss this and more. Some on the board are calling for rate hikes. DC Council members on the board vow to veto any plan that calls for an increase in fares.
