Howard University remains on heightened alert with additional security present. It will remain that way through next week. The FBI is working to identify the person who posted the online threat to students as classes continue as scheduled. Dr. Gregory Carr is the Chairman of the Afro American Studies at Howard University says it is a very important moment in American history and Howard students are ready to do what needs to been done. Early this morning a small group of students and alumni joined in solidarity for diversity at all college campuses.

Police in Bowie are looking into a possible hate crime at Bowie State…

Prince George’s County Police are still investigating an incident involving a swastika that was painted on the Martin Luther King Communications Arts Center at Bowie State University. Authorities are looking into it as a possible hate crime.

Va church vows to replace damaged “Black Lives Matter” sign…

A “Black Lives Matter” sign damaged by vandals at the Rock Spring Congregational church in Arlington will soon be replaced with a new one. The vandals covered up the word “Black”.

DC reaches 142 recorded homicides…

The District has recorded its 142nd homicide this morning. The adult male that has not been identified was found shot in the chest this morning on Adams Street in N.E. Police are looking for witnesses to the murder.

For a time, Taylor even spoke with a British accent. Well now she resides in the DC area and for the past three years has worked as the news anchor for The Steve Harvey Morning Show on WHUR. Recently, Taylor has adopted the Washington Redskins as her most loved pro sports team.
