Attorney’s involved with the William Porter mistrial meet with the judge to talk about a possible retrial…

It was a fairly quiet night in the city, as protesters took to the streets to voice their feelings about a mistrial in the First Freddie Gray case. The prosecution, defense and the judge plan to meet today and discuss whether their will be a retrial of former Police Officer William Porter. The Grey family remains positive that justice will be served. Sources say we could learn of a retrial date as early as today. WHUR will let you know as soon as a decision as made.

D.O.J. against meet with Chicago Mayor as they look into the practices of Chicago Police Dept. …

The Justice Department’s civil right probe into the Chicago Police Department has begun. Today agents will meet with Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Attorney General Loretta Lynch ordered the probe following video showing a 17 year old A. A. male being shot 16 times while on the ground by a white police officer. That officer has since been charged with murder.

Police plan to file charges in connection with the San Bernardino shootings…

The longtime friend and neighbor of the San Bernardino Shooter Syed Farook will be charged for purchasing the riffles used to kill 14 co- workers during a holiday celebration earlier this month. Enrique Marquez admitted that he bought the rifle because he did not want Farook to be linked to the weapon. Tomorrow President Barack Obama will visit privately with the survivors and the victim families.
