We are a step away from averting a Gov’t shutdown, right now the house is taking up the bill…

Right now, the Senate is taking up a massive year end $1.1 trillion dollar bill that would fund the Federal Government through next September averting a shutdown next week. The measure now moves to the House for approved before heading to the Presidents desk.

President Obama address ISIS today during a 2pm news conference…

The Commander and Chief is set to hold a 2pm News Conference on the U.S’s continued efforts to destroy ISIS. Later President Obama will meet privately with the victims families from the San Bernardino before return to his home state of Hawaii to start his Christmas vacation with his family.

Still waiting on a retrial date for William Porter…

The city of Baltimore and the family of Freddie Gray are anxiously awaiting word on a date for a retrial for former Police Officer William Porter. Yesterday’s closed door meeting between attorney’s and the judge failed to produce a date. Gray family attorney Billy Murphy says he clients are staying positive that justice will be served.

Chicago Police Officer expected to plead not guilty in the murder of an A.A. teen…

The Chicago Police Officer charged with the murder of 17 year old Laqaun McDonald is due in court. Jason Van Dyke is expected to plead “Not” guilty to 6 first degree murder charges in the shooting death of the A. A. teen.

For a time, Taylor even spoke with a British accent. Well now she resides in the DC area and for the past three years has worked as the news anchor for The Steve Harvey Morning Show on WHUR.
