A sink hole is found in Prince George’s County…

Police and WSSC crews are on the scene of a sink hole in Seat Pleasant on Addison Road. The road is closed to traffic between Drylong and Crown Streets. It’s unclear on how long it will take to make the needed repairs.

WSSC working on massive water main break in Bowie…

The water has been shut off at the site of a broken 24 inch water main pipe in Bowie. WSSC crews are on the scene looking at the broken pipe along the 36-hundred block of Mitchellville Road, near excalibur Road. Southbound Mitchellville road will remain closed for some time. Some people are reporting a slight discoloration, if you notice it after they complete the work you should run your pipes until the water is clear and DO NOT wash your clothes if the water is discolored.

Two DC children, hit by a car…

A boy and girl are said to be ok after being hit by a car this morning in the District. It happened in the 44-hundred block of Arkansas Avenue in NW. Police are still looking into the incident.

DC’s Mayor announces the companies that will bring affordable housing to the city …

Right now DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is announcing the two companies that will be given $90 Million dollar of the cities money to build 800 affordable housing units. The money will be used for 12 projects throughout the city.
