DC Police still searching for answers in 7 month old death…

There are still no answers to what may have killed a 7 month old found unresponsive in a NW home yesterday. The infant died at the hospital. Authorities say 5 other children under the age of 10 were in the home at the time without an adult present.

A parents meeting is planned tonight at the Prince George’s Co. School were a former volunteer has been charged with making porn video with students…

Prince George’s County School Leaders are preparing for a 6:30 parents meeting at Judge Sylvania Woods Elementary School. Officials will discuss the child porn investigation facing a former volunteer teacher’s aide. The family of a 9 year old victim has filed a lawsuit. The principal has been placed on administrative leave and the FBI is warning their could be as many as 30 victims. A parent student hot line to report any suspicious behavior has been set up, the number is 301-618-8342.

Community meetings regarding neighborhood homeless shelters is set for tonight…

DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has an ambitious plan to end homelessness in the city by 2020. Bowser plan to close DC General in the next two years and to replace it with small dignified short term shelters, one in each Ward. Tonight’s there will be a meeting on the shelters at 6:30 in each of the cities 8 Wards. Now if you can not attend any of tonight’s meeting you can go to Mayor.dc.gov for the entire plan and to sign up for future meetings about the shelters.

CBC backs Clinton, Democrats debate tonight…

Just moment ago the Congressional Black Caucus PAC has just endorsed Hillary Clinton for President. Now just days after losing the New Hampshire to Bernie Sanders, the two will take part in another debate tonight at 9 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
