Terrorist gunmen in two separate stand offs in Paris are presumed dead

Reuters is reporting that at least four hostages are dead and the gunmen involved in two separate standoff with French police are dead. Theirs word that a female suspect is still at large.

Accused UVA abductor is due back in court in Fairfax County

It’s back to court for Jessie Matthew today. A judge will rule on three more motions including a gag request for his March 9th rape trial. Yesterday, the judge ruled against allowing camera’s in the courtroom for his trial related to the rape of a woman in Fairfax County. Matthew has also been charged in the disappearance of UVA student Hannah Gramham.

Two years of free community college could soon become a reality

President Obama will talk about his administrations plans to make higher education accessible to all Americans. Today Obama will talk about several initiatives, including one that would have the Federal Government pay for two years of community college, if they maintain a C+. Today’s speech at a community college in Tennessee is a prelude to his January 20th State of the Union Address.
