A plea deal is reached in Fairfax County murder trial…

A Plea Deal has been reached in the murder trial of a former Fairfax County Police Officer charged with killing John Geer outside of his Springfield home. Officer Adam Torres will plead to involuntary manslaughter. He faces up to 10 years in prison. Prosecutors are recommend 12 months, Torres has already been in jail for 8 months without bond. Torres sentencing is set for June.

Funeral services confirmed for the Prince George’s Co. Fire Fighter killed responding to a welfare call…

Funeral services for the veteran Prince George’s County Police Officer shot & killed while responding to a welfare call is set for tomorrow. 33 year old John Ulmsnider’s service will be held in Hollywood, MD. It’s a loss to anyone who knew him says friend Herbert Gellner. The 19 year old volunteer fire fighter shot multiple times as well is improving. He was taken out of ICU earlier this morning.

A new lawsuit is filed against The Prince George’s County School System…

The Prince George’s County Public School System is facing another lawsuit connected to a teacher’s aids sexually abusing a child. The suit the school system did not do a through back ground check on 33 year old Jason Howard. In 2013 he plead guilty to the charges and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Howard was caught in the act by a teacher at Glendale Elementary.

Today’s the tax deadline…

Today’s the deadline to file your taxes. The polls are open in Maryland for early voting. The last day is Thursday. The polls in the state will stay open from 10 am to 8pm daily. During the primary you can register and vote on the same day.
