The search for missing Fairfax County Fire Fighter continues…

A press conference was held earlier this morning in Fairfax County regarding missing Fire Fighter Nicole Mittendorf. Her emotional husband asked the public to focus on keeping her picture & story in the public and on social media. A national alert has now been issued out for any information on her whereabouts.

A grand jury will decide the fate of Temple Hills man who shot two fire fighters…

A grand jury could decide today if criminal charges should be filed against the Temple Hills homeowner who mistakenly shot two fire fighters he thought were breaking into his home. A veteran fire fighter was killed. Prince George’s County Police Chief Hank Stawinski says there are a lot of questions that need to be answered. A second fire fighter shot 4 times is still in serious condition.

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of the death of Freddie Gray…

It’s been a year since the death of 25 year old Freddie Gray. Six Baltimore City Police Officer face criminal charges in his death. Two are due for a preliminary hearing tomorrow. On Sunday Rev. Jamal Bryant will lead a peace march in honor of Gray.

Parents plan to rally tonight against plans to close two schools…

Concerned parents who do not want Skyline Elementary or Forestville High School to shut down for good….plan to rally tonight in Upper Marlboro. As it stands now the schools will close at the end of this school year. Officials say the schools are under populated.
