Metro GM puts managers on notice, they will be held accountable…

Right now 650 metro managers are meeting with Metro General Manager Paul Wiedefeld. This mornings meeting began with Wiedefeld telling them that they will be held accountable. He is hoping this first of it’s kind meeting for the transit agency will help to change the safety culture among those in charge. Wiedefeld will also discuss 15 critical maintenance area’s that he has identified.

Baltimore Office makes a sure decision in his Freddie Gray case…

Just moments ago we received word that Baltimore Police Office Edward Nero has opted to stand trial in the Freddie Gray case before a judge and not a jury. Nero is one of 6 Officer charged in his death. His trial will begin on Thursday. It’s expected to last for 5 days.

It’s sentencing day for a friend of Vincent Gray connected to his shadow campaign investigation…

It’s sentencing day for former Mayor Gray field Vernon Hawkins linked to Gray’s Shadow Campaign investigation. Hawkins faces 5 years in prison for admitting to lying to investigators about the illegal shadow campaign. Vincent Gray was never charged with a crime and is currently run for ward 7 city council.
