DC Mayor slashes out against Houses vote on budget autonomy…

DC Mayor Bowser & City Officials are furious over the recent vote by House Republicans to block a vote by residents for budget autonomy. Siting that the 2015 city wide vote makes it law Mayor Bowser spoke out about the Houses’ recent move. The full house could vote on the bill as early as next week.

Dozens of bags of mail found dumped in the sewer in DC…

Postal Officials in the District have a mystery on their hands. How did 25 bags filled with mail end up in a Sewer in N.E.? DC Water crews made the discovery yesterday at Anacostia Avenue and Douglas Street. It’s believed a part time fill in employee may have done it. The postal services say they will do their best to get every piece of mail to the rightful recipient.

Manassas police search for more possible rape victims at No. Va. Community College…

Manassas Police believe there could be other rape victims at Northern
Virginia Community College. Former calculus professor Youssef Taleb has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting to two female students. The victims say it happened on the Manassas campus earlier this year after going to Taleb for help with math.
