A bomb threat and suspicious package closed Six Flags in Largo…

We have breaking news this hour out of Prince George’s County. A bomb squad has found a specious package at Six Flags America Park in Largo. The search was prompted by a threat called in after 10 this morning. The park is now closed.

Funeral services for three Dallas Police Officers have begun…

Right now in Dallas, funeral services have begun for three of the five police officers killed in a sniper attack last week. Meanwhile, the attorney representing Philandro Castile who was shot and killed by police in Minneapolis says they are going to file a lawsuit. Former TV judge Glenda Hatchatte is going to represent the family. Funeral services will be held for Castile in Minneapolis tomorrow.

President Obama hosts a meeting with Police Officials and Civil Right Activists at the White House…

President Obama is set to meet today at 2:45 with Law Enforcement Officials, Educators and Civil Rights Activists at the White House. The goal is to discuss new ways to improve relations with police and the people in the communities they work in.
