New details in the shooting at Frederick High School

There’s new information about this weeks shooting outside of Frederick High School. WJLA-TV is reporting that the 14 and 15 year old boys shot were members of a gang and they knew their assailants. Investigators are still searching for up to 4 suspects. Students returned to class today.

DC teacher charged with sexually child abuse

A teacher at Miner Elementary School in N.E. DC has been charged with sexually abusing a child. 33 year old Leroy Ware was taken into custody yesterday. There’s no word, if the victim was a student.

An Emergency meeting is called in Prince George’s County to address the devaluing of homes

The People for Change Coalition is calling an emergency town hall meeting to discuss the devaluing of homes owned by African Americans in Prince George’s County. The public meeting entitled, “Black Homes Do Matter” will take place from 9am to 11am at the Martin Luther King Jr Library in Bowie.
