Officer Brennan Rabain is laid to rest….

Funeral services are underway this hour in Temple Hills, Maryland for fallen Prince George’s County Police Officer Brennan Rabain. The 26 year old was off duty in his police cruiser when he noticed a speeding vehicle in Lanham last weekend. During the chase he lost control of this vehicle and crashed. He leaves behind a 2 year old daughter.

Manhunt in Ferguson for the suspect who shot two Police Officers….

Ferguson, Missouri police are on a manhunt for the person or people responsible for shooting two police outside of the Ferguson Police Department. One officer was shot in the face and the other was shot in the shoulder. They are listed in serious conditions. Protestors are demanding more city officials to be fired following the Department of Justice report on the department that show rampant evidence of racist practices.

A familiar name enters the race for Donna Edwards Congressional seat…

Maryland’s Former Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown has officially announced that the will enter the 2016 Congressional race for Donna Edward’s District 4 seat. Brown made his intention known late yesterday on his website. He joins former Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Glenn Ivey, who made his announcement early Wednesday.
