WHUR has learned this morning that U.S. Attorney General Ron Machen has announced that he is stepping down as of April 1st. Sources say he will return to private practice. Vincent Cohen has been named as his temporary replacement.

Former Prince George’s County Council Chair Ingrid Turner is expected to announce today that she is going to seek the seat of Congresswoman Donna Edwards, who is running for the Senate. On Saturday, former Maryland Delegate Joseline Pena-Melnix announced she was also interested in becoming the District 4 House Representative.

20 year old Missouri man charge for shooting two Ferguson police officer…

A 20 year old man is due to appear in court today to answer to charges that he shot two Ferguson Police Officers during protest last week. Jeffery Williams says he got into an altercation with another person and that the officers may have been by a stray bullet. Williams faces life in prison if convicted of all the charges filed against him.

For a time, Taylor even spoke with a British accent. Well now she resides in the DC area and for the past three years has worked as the news anchor for The Steve Harvey Morning Show on WHUR. Recently, Taylor has adopted the Washington Redskins as her most loved pro sports team.
