Former Patriots star play found guilty of murder…

A Massachusetts jury has found former New England Patriots star Aaron Hernandez guilty of first degree murder. He now faces life in prison without the chance of parole for the murder of Odin Lloyd who was dating his fiancee sister.

Prince George’s County residents unsure about Executives 15% tax increase for schools…

Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker held the first of 6 public meetings on his proposal to increase property taxes for schools. Last night he spoke to residents about his idea for a 15% increase to help improve area schools. School CEO Kevin Maxwell who was also in attendance promised parents with the funding the school system would rank among the Top 10 in the nation.

It’s Tax deadline day…

It’s April 15th, the deadline to register for your taxes without penalty. Now you can request a 6 month extension, but that does not mean that you do not have to pay what you think you owe the government. According to the IRS the average tax return is $2,816 this year.
