President Obama takes to the airway to apologize for the accidental death of American during air strikes in the Middle East…

President Obama took to the airways this morning to inform the American public that an American and an Italian national had been killed in air strikes against Al-Qaeda. The American has been identified as Dr. Warren Weinstein and Giovanni Lo Porto. Dr. Weinstein who is from Rockville, Maryland had been held hostage since 2011.

The Brown family sues the city of Ferguson in connection with their sons death…

The family of Michael Brown just wrapped up a press conference informing the public that they have filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Ferguson, Missouri in connection to their sons death at the hands of a police officer. A grand jury found no evidence of any criminal wrong doing by that officer, Officer Darren Wilson.

The Senate prepares to confirm Loretta Lynch as Attorney General…

The Senate is set to vote today on confirming Loretta Lynch as the country’s new Attorney General. If approved, Lynch will become the first African American woman to hold this powerful position. She will replace retiring Attorney General Eric Holder.
