DOJ will investigate the practices of the Baltimore Police Department …

Attorney General Loretta Lynch has ordered a federal investigation of the Baltimore Police Department. The Department of Justice will look for specific and repeat cases of discrimination and excessive use of force. The probe will begin immediately. The investigation request was made last week by Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake.

Right now, there is a massive aerial celebration take place in the skies in the District. Over 50 vintage World War plans are taking part in a flyover, over The National Mall and the WWII Memorial. Today marks the 70th Anniversary of the end of World War II in Europe.
