New Federal Guidelines on Racial Profiling

Monday, the United States Justice Department and U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced new guidelines aimed at reducing racial profiling by federal law enforcement agencies.  These guidelines come in the wake of the killing of unarmed Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri and Eric Garner on Staten Island (NY).  The new guidelines do not cover local and state police agencies.
