No criminal charges will be filed in Charlotte Police shooting of a black man…

Prosecutors in Charlotte have decided that they will not be filing criminal
charges against Police Officer Brentley Vinson in the September shooting
death of Keith Lamont Scott. Investigators say Scott had a gun and refused to comply with police orders to put it down when he was shot & killed.

A local well known Prince George’s County Council Member is facing DUI charges…

We are still working to get the details regarding the arrest & DUI charges filed against Prince George’s County District 9 Council Member Mel Franklin. The charges follow a car accident last Tuesday at Route 4 & Dower House Road. Franklin was driving a county car at the time.

MD Senator Curry decides not to leave office next month…

Maryland State Senate Ulysses Curry is not leaving after all. The 79-year-old long time Prince George’s County politician has rescinded his resignation letter. Curry was set to leave office on December 1st. Some say he decided to stay because of the turmoil over who would fill his seat.
