Police identify woman killed in a double shooting this morning in Prince George’s County…

The search continues this hour for the person who shot two people on Prince Place this morning in Prince George’s County. We now know the female that died has been identified as 18-years-old Alisha Banks. The man who was shot suffered non-life threatening injuries.

18 year old makes first court appearance in stabbing death of a 17 year old…

The 18-year-old female charged with murdering a 17-year-old girl following a metro bus fight is due to make her first court appearance today. Kyla Jones faces 2nd degree murder in the stabbing death of Kaelia Minor. Investigators say the two girls knew each other and that the fight may have been over a cell phone. Either way DC Mayor Muriel Bowser says two young lives have been forever changed. The victims family is planning to hold a 5pm candlelight vigil at the site where Minor was stabbed.
