Homicide detectives remain on the scene of a double shooting last night in District Heights. Police were called to Woodland Springs Apartment Complex. There they found two men in their 20’s lying in the parking lot. They had been shot multiple times. The search is on for their killer(s).

DC Police are investigating the police involved shooting of a armed man last night along Park Road. DC Police Chief Peter Newsham has confirmed a gun was recovered from the scene. The officer was not harmed. The suspect suffered non life threatening injuries.

Charles County Public School Officials are planning a July 28th public meeting about the arrest of a Teacher’s Aide with HIV for allegedly sexually assaulting at least 10 middle school boys. Investigators believe Carlos Bell may have more victims out there. The public session will be held at Stoddard Middle School.
