Police search for 3 ATM robbers…

Three suspects are wanted by New Carrollton Police for the theft of an ATM machine from a Laurel BP Gas station. Police chased them from Cheverly to N.E., S.E. and then they bailed out at Southern Avenue and Suitland Road. The ATM machine was found in the middle of Route 50. An active search is ongoing in the area.

Flynn resigns and Mnunchin is sworn in….

The search begins today for a new National Security Advisor. It follows the sudden resignation by Michael Flynn over his ties with Russia. Meantime lawmakers approved President Trumps choice for Treasury Secretary Steve Mnunchin.

Md Council Member Mel Franklin tries to avoid jail time for a DUI charge…

Prince George’s County Council Member Mel Franklin has requested a jury trial in his drunk driving case.  Franklin did not appear in court for yesterday’s hearing instead he sent his attorney to make the request.  Franklin is charged with driving under the influence in November and damaging a government car and injuring a couple in another vehicle that he rear ended. No trail date has been set.
