Prince George’s County police search for a gunman in a Largo killing…

Prince George’s County police are searching for a gunman. Authorities say there were reports of a shooting the ten-thousand-100 block of Campus Way South in Largo last night. When crews arrived to a condo building, they found a victim in a stairwell. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No motive or suspects have been revealed so far.

A federal judge in Maryland has now temporarily suspended the executive order restricting travel from six Muslim-majority countries. The ban was already frozen nationwide by a Hawaii judge’s ruling yesterday. It was supposed to take effect today.

President Trump’s budget blueprint is being formally delivered to Congress today. It pumps up defense spending by 54-billion dollars while slashing funds for the EPA, the State Department, scientific research and aid for the poor, among other things. White House budget director Mick Mulvaney says Trump wants to “get rid of programs that don’t work.”
