S.E. student killed in an attempted robbery is laid to rest today…

This morning friends and family of 16-year-old Zaire Kelly will say good bye. Kelly’s viewing begins at 9 with the funeral at 11 at Matthews Memorial Baptist Church in S.E. His would-be attacker was stabbed by Kelly in self-defense and he later died from that injury. Kelly was an AP student and standout track star preparing for college. He was walking home from a College Bound course when he was attacked.

Homicide detectives in Temple Hills following early morning shooting…

Prince George’s County police remain on the scene of a fatal shooting. Officers were called to a home on Rocky Mount Drive where they found an adult male dead. His identity has not been released. His killer remains on the loose.

Republican drop replacing Obamacare and now focus on tax reform…

Senate Republicans decided last night not to vote on a bill to replace Obamacare because they did not have the votes to get it pass. This morning they say they are moving onto tax reform. The White House plans to unveil the details of the proposal that includes cutting the corporate rate from 35% to 20% and only have 3 personal tax brackets instead of the current 7.
