The House prepares to vote on a bill to delay a Gov’t shutdown…

The House is expected to vote today on a bill that would delay a decision on funding for the Federal Government until December 22nd today. Source close say the Senate will likely do the same. If a spending deal or an extension is not approved by Mid-night tomorrow the Federal Government will have to shut down.

Minnesota Senator Al Franken is set to announce today whether he will remain in the Senate. Franken is under a lot of pressure from his party to resign amid claims by women that he sexually harassed them. The claims stem from incidents before he was elected to office.

Virginia Police plan to help DC Police search for the body of missing Pamela Butler. Her ex-boyfriend Jose Rodrique-Cruz in a deal to get a lighter prison sentence told investigators that he buried her along I-95 in Stafford County 8 years ago. The family is looking forward to giving her a proper burial.
