Lawmakers in the Senate will take up a bill today in the hopes of averting a Government shutdown. Late yesterday the House approve a measure.
Tonight the government runs out of money. The house’s plan extends government funding until late April.

A 16-year-old teen killed in a drive by in S.E. is laid to rest, killer still on the loose…

Funeral services will be today for 16-year-old Breyona McMillion. She the teen that was visiting home from boarding school when she was shot and killed in a drive-by outside of Potomac Garden Apartment. One person has been arrested & charged with the unlawful use of a fire arm but no one has been charged in
McMillian’s murder.

Dylann Roof’s murder trial resumes in S.C….

In Charleston, South Carolina. Testimony resumes this morning in the trail of the man who shot and killed 9 African American parishioners at Emanuel AME last year during Bible study. Yesterday jurors in Dylann Roof trial saw some graphic images of the aftermath. The 22-year-old self-proclaimed white supremacist could face
the death penalty if convicted.
