The snow is coming, schools and the Federal Gov’t are closed…

We remain under a “Winter Storm Warning” until 8 tonight. Forecasters are still calling for 3 to 7 inches in the DC area and 2 to 4 in Southern Maryland. The snow is expected to start at 11 and end between 2 and 4 this afternoon. Please stay off the roads to allow transportation crews to treat and clear the roads.

Search for answers in Great Mills School shooting…

The gunman in yesterday shooting at Great Mills High School is dead, a girl is in critical condition and a boy is in good condition.The resource officer Blaine Gaskill is being called a hero for responding in one minute to the gunfire and confront the shooter. Investigators are not sure if the suspect died from a self-inflicted injury or if Gaskill delivered the fatal injury. Counselors will be available today from 11 to 2 at Benjamin Banneker.

Texas serial bomber blows himself up…

FBI agents say the suspect wanted for a string of fatal bombings in Austin, Texas say he blew himself up when they closed in on him this morning. It happened outside of a motel. The suspect is only being described as a 24-year-old white male. Investigators say all five bombings were connected.
