Triple shooting in S.E. this morning…

This morning three men were been shot along Martin Luther King Jr Avenue in S.E. It happened around 3pm in the 3000 block. Police are also searching for a blue Lexus in connection.

The FBI is leading the investigation into missing Virginia Beach student Ashanti Billie. Yesterday volunteers found a sock, some clothing and two hair braids at two different locations. There is a $20 thousand dollar reward for information that leads to her whereabouts in this case.

DC Delegate moves forward with a push to remove a confederate statue from Judiciary Square…

DC Delegate Eleanor Holmes-Norton says she will be introducing a bill to have the statue of former Confederate General Albert Pike from Judiciary Square. Unfortunately, Holmes-Norton says it will require Congressional approval because the statue is located on National Park Service land.
