Two teens are arrested for shooting an Oxon Hill student…

Prince George’s County Police have arrested two teens in connection with this weeks shooting of a 11th grade outside of Oxon Hill High School. The victim is improving. He is now in stable condition. Charged as adults are 17 year old Zanaya Bryant and 18 year old Anthony Hollingsworth. The motif is believed to be robbery.

The Maryland Health Department has unfortunately reported its first pediatric death due to the flu. No other details have been released. The CDC has reported 53 pediatric deaths this year because of this seasons aggressive virus. Health officials recommend that everyone take the flu shot.

Lawmakers are scrambling today to avert tomorrow’s government shutdown. Early reports indicate that the House has approved a short term bill to fund the government until the end of next month. The Senate has yet to weigh in on it. President Trump said yesterday that he is willing to let the Federal Government shutdown if he does not get the changes he wants to immigration.
