U.S. Olympics Swimmers lied about robbery, police source says…

NBC news is reporting that four U.S. Olympic Swimmers lied about being robbed by four men with police uniforms and badges while in Rio. The new agency sites a source close to the Brazilian police department. This breaking news follows 3 U.S. Olympic swimmers who are expected to give their testimony about it today. Prince George’s Co. Executive Rushern Baker is angry over the county loosing millions in federal funds for Head Start…

Prince George’s County Executive Rushern Baker is quote “angry and extremely disappointed” in the recent news regarding the public school system losing millions in grant money for the Head Start program. The Prince George’s County School Board has 30 days to respond to the decision. Prince George’s County Schools Chancellor Dr. Kevin Maxwell has dealt with the teachers in question and vows to start on time on Aug. 29th.

Immunization deadline is upon us for students in Prince George’s County…

School starts for students in public school in Prince George’s County next Tuesday and that means students need to get their immunization before that. The county health department is holding free vaccinations today until 3 at Oxon Hill Elementary and from 4 – 7 at Oxon Hills H.S.. Tomorrow one will be held from 10 – 3 at Buck Lodge Middle School in Hyattsville.
