Police in VA search for a teen they say threatened an area school…

Virginia Police are looking for 18-year-old Ismael Harrison. Investigators say he made a post on Twitter threatening to do harm to his fellow classmates at Fairfax High School. Police say Harrison should be considered armed and dangerous.

Friday’s strong winds displaces 800 families in Suitland follow a partial apartment collapse…

800 people who call the Andrew Ridge Apartments in Suitland home have been displaced. Friday’s powerful winds ripped on the roof and shortly after that there was a partial building collapse. The Fire Department was able to get residents out before the collapse. Families are awaiting word if they will be able to return. The American Red Cross is helping out.

New DC Water rates could result in families losing their homes in S.E….

The city is building two storm run off tunnels and a treatment system to help with pollution in the Potomac River. The projects has DC Water charging residents extra for a number of things like roofing fees and even additional fees for church parking lots. Union Temple Baptist says their bills have jumped from a few hundred to $3,000. Reverend Willie Wilson says it is causing churches to cut staff to pay the bill and that some residents risk losing their homes over the drastically higher bills.
