Yoga instructor accused killer is due in court…

It’s court day for the man accused of killing popular DC Yoga Instructor Tricia McCauley. Adrienne Johnson of Upper Marlboro who accused of the crime has a lengthy criminal record in DC is due in court today. In fact, Johnson was arrested 3 times in DC this month alone. In the past Johnson was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, to attend drug rehab and wear a GPS monitor. McCauley was strangled and appeared to have been sexually assaulted.

The family of a man shot and killed by DC police on Christmas wants justice…

The mother of a man killed by DC police on Christmas Day says police accounts of what happened does not match police body cam video. Police say Gerald Hall was shot for not putting down a knife. One police officer involved in the shooting has been placed on leave. This Friday Hall, the father of 4 would have turned 30. A vigil is planned at 7 at the sight of his murder this Friday.

Planned Parenthood will now be apart of Women’s March on Washington…

Planned Parenthood is now committing to take part in next month’s Woman’s March on Washington, which will happen a day after the Presidential Inauguration. Meanwhile, the British Newspaper “The Guardian” is reporting that donations for Planned Parenthood has spiked since Donald Trump won the election. To the tune of $300,000. Most of the donors were millennials and 70% were first-time
donors. There’s concern the Trump administration will defund the abortion rights group.
