Metropolitan and DC Fire investigators are looking into the bizarre death of a woman found this morning in Northeast. First responders were called to the Mobile gas station at 21st Street and Benning Road this morning just after 5:30. Once there they noticed a fire at a pump and they quickly put it out.
Firefighters say the body of an adult female woman was found near the gas station pump. Interestingly enough there was no car present at the pump that caught on fire. The cause is still under investigation. There’s no word if there were any witnesses.
