(Washington, DC) — The National Cherry Blossom Festival starts late this month. Organizers say there won’t be an in-person parade this year due to coronavirus worries, but a virtual Paws & Petals Parade is scheduled for April 3rd. The Japan Foundation will co-present the March 20th opening ceremony featuring performers from Japan and the U.S. Peak bloom is expected from April 2nd to April 5th.
