DC Police are investigating nine people shot in two separate incidents. Two of the nine victims were killed.

Just after 10 last night Metropolitan Police were called to the 1300 block of Columbia Road in Northwest on a report of multiple shots fired. Once their officers found 6 victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were 5 males and 1 female. The only details released is the victim killed was a male. The other injuries ranged from serious to non-life threatening. Police are looking for two suspects last seen in a light-colored Nissan with an AK style rifle.

Some 30 minutes later and a short distance away police were called to a triple shooting in the 1400 block of Rhode Island Avenue in Northeast. One of the male victims in this shooting was fatally injured.

No arrests have been made in either of these cases. Investigators are looking to see if these shootings are possibly connected.
