(Linden, NJ) — A North Jersey school official faces calls for his resignation after comparing Vice President Kamala Harris to a prostitute. Gregory Martucci, a Linden School Board member, made the comment on Facebook in response to a video posted by pro-Trump comedian Terence K. Williams. His rant about Harris and immigration inspired Martucci to write, “She is right off the wingnut streets of San Francisco. What do you expect from a street walker who has no clue about America.” Martucci has since apologized, issuing a statement saying that his offensive comment doesn’t reflect who he is in his public or private life, nor his views about women. Mayor Derek Armstead is calling on Martucci to step down, saying he’ll help him pack up his office.
