Black Hair and the Evolution of The Crown Act

Examination of The Crown Act nationwide and the impact on youth

California, New Jersey, New York, even Montgomery County, Maryland have passed versions of The Crown Act, the law that protects African-Americans from workplace discrimination base on hair style.  But not everyone is protected by the laws that are passed.  What about young people who are far from the job market and experiencing discrimination in schools and with extra curricular activities?  How would it work for them?
