Eating Disorders and the Black Community

Anorexia, Bulimia, binging and purging…these forms of eating disorders exploded into popular culture during the late 1970’s.  Most of them associated with white women…high fashion models and Hollywood starlets… fighting to be thin.  But they also impact people of color.  We take a closer look at eating disorders and how they’re treated.
